If you struggle with your daily or special occasional makeup looks, chances are that you just need a few pointers to improve your makeup game.
Let us share some common issues and how to resolve them with our effective solutions:
Too much cake – If you find your base is too heavy, it is likely you are using too much foundation. Swap your usual tool with a kabuki brush and use the back of your hand to pump your foundation onto. Always use less product and build up for more if necessary.
Dry patches – If you find dry patches on your skin, invest in a hydrating face spray such as Urban Decay’s Quick Fix which contains coconut water for super hydration. Spray before, during and after makeup application and this will help you tackle those dry areas.
Large pores and wrinkles – If you suffer from large pores and wrinkles, do invest in a good priming product to use prior your makeup application. Any product that is silicone based will blur your pores and wrinkles, giving you a smooth base ready for your makeup application. We highly recommend Benefit’s Porefessional.
Eyeliner mistakes – If you’ve made a mess of your eyeliner, don’t rub or wipe the eyeliner because this will smudge and make it worse. Instead, wait for the eyeliner to fully dry then reach for your concealer and brush over the mistake areas. Set the concealer with face powder.
Kohl smudges – To avoid your kohl pencil smudging onto your undereye area, apply translucent powder. This will create a barrier and stop your kohl pencil from spreading down.
